The Year of 2021

I write this post as I’ve been spending hours per day working on my next release. It’s been a minute. Hope you all are well. I’m excited to share some upcoming updates.

A few things to look forward to coming up;

I will be releasing my next single, Right Right Now, in mid-May. You’ll be able to find it everywhere on May 20th. This will be a new sound in contrast to my previous releases, but I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. At least I’ve enjoyed creating it.

There are also plans to participate in live events as feasible mid-to-late 2021. More information to come.

I have a Christmas album planned a for a early November release. This will be comprised of some new spins on old classics, and some sweeb originals. A bit early to be thinking about Christmas music, but this is something that I’ve been working on for a few years now. But I expect every second of time decorated on this album to be worth it.

I also have a big announcement that I cannot yet reveal - but it will be available soon. It will involve a new way to engage with you and the sweeb community. Not just new to sweeb; this platform isn’t even released yet. Get excited.

Life in general and my music production always face challenges. But I’ve gathered even more experiences, and feel that I have more to share than ever before. Can’t wait.

Sweeb is back

Sweeb is back in summer of 2019. Live appearances, exciting new updates, and importantly, a new album.

You can look forward to “Moped” in May. This new collection will explore a new opportunity for sweeb. Lyrics that feel as if they were about your own existience meet rich acoustics. Stories about mopeds, new feelings, and chance encountered are carried by powerful sounds, and even the harmonica is being dusted off to fully tell you, musically, about the last few years.


Sweeb is back, and better, and more active than ever.

Chaos.

Hello.

Good news. My album "Chaos.", will be released on the tenth of February. it will be available wherever you listen to music. 

Over the last few years, I have been working on two different types of musical projects; an instrumental electronic-themed, and some acoustic singer-songwriter material. 

I will be releasing some of the acoustic material through 2017, but notably, this album, will be an instrumental collection of songs that I've created over the last couple of years. One of the cool things about instrumental music, is that every song can have multiple meanings - can mean different things to different people. All of these songs mean something to me - a train of thought - a life situation - a challenge - a calling from God. The beautiful thing is that they might mean something completely different to the listener. This album has some songs that are more "fun", or as I like to think, a reminder to look around and enjoy this beautiful world that we live in and the awesome people around us. Some are more "serious". I hope you enjoy. I would love to hear your thoughts.

hello, everyone. 

this is ben here, and this is the page where i will be posting news, updates, thoughts, and really about anything else regarding sweeb. this page will be updated pretty regularly, so this is a good place to keep checking back. i currently have started the recording of my first e.p., which will be called hello. i am hoping to have a sample sometime soon, and am hoping to have the e.p. completed and released before the end of the year.
